Organisational background
We were first established in 1987 starting in a little white cottage opposite where we are based now. We joined the VetPartners family in 2015 and this has enabled us to grow. We are now developing our first branch practice which is very exciting and means we can offer our clients an amazing service in more than one location.
Here at Littlecroft we love to work up cases to a high standard and see them through to a (hopefully) successful end. We have visiting European specialists in ultrasonography and cardiology, and can offer a great network of support in the form of experienced nurses and vet colleagues each day along with a fantastic team of additional staff including receptionists and animal care assistants. We all work together as a close knit team to offer the very best care and compassion to our clients and of course our patients.
We like to have regular team meetings as we feel communication is key, as is cake, and we have regular vet rounds to discuss cases and protocols so we can share our experience and knowledge.
Our team has suffered losses recently – some of our long-term team members going on to complete internships and taking on individual partnership opportunities, sadly things we cannot offer at Littlecroft. We have the benefit of being a member of the VetPartners family which means we are willing and keen to support career progression and can share and have access to the wealth of knowledge within the group from other practices.
